• Mono Cone (on 395 in town), : +1 647-6606. With the appearance of a traditional American hamburger stand serving burgers, fries, and soft-serve ice cream, they do serve all that. Plus they serve more adventurous versions with vegetarian options, crab cakes, a gazillion types of ice cream, and more.
• Tioga Gas and Gift Mart, : 22 Vista Road, : +1 760 647-1088, Website: http://www.thesierraweb.com/tiogagasmart. Open from the end of April through November 1. One of the most unexpected places in Lee Vining is this gourmet restaurant in a small town gas station. Do not fail to eat here at least once; it is that good.
