Everything is expensive in Europe. Flying out of a European hub to European destinations is usually cheaper than from the UK. Prices are somewhat fixed. You can get real bargains on last minute flights.
Africa. When I lived in Casablanca, all points in Europe were about 500 Euros. No one can say which is a better place to live. That's up to you. I lived in both the UK and Germany for 6 years each. Schools. Both Germany and England have excellent schools. The International School in Bergen, Netherlands is one of the finest schools I have ever seen for the Baccalaureate. Job markets in Europe are fluid and unemployment is still high. Western Europe is flooded with cheap labour from central Europe, so if you don't have an EU passport it is going to be tough. |

I`m in agreement with Encantada.
I wish to add that in respect to jobs, i think you would have a better chance currently in Germany. For some reason, a lot of people go to the UK, looking for a job. So, while in everything else, both countries are somewhat balanced, work wise Germany has (currently) the best options. Alternatively, you could see if you can find employment with an international company in the UK, or in Germany. With your language mix you probably will not have to wait for long. English, French, German are the most widely used languages in Europe - The japanese and korean are very nice additions to that. Spanish isn`t used very much in Europe, but internationally with business it will be a nice asset. I`m officially jealous of your languages skills ![]() |
