I was thinking of taking a trip there and wanted to hear input from other americans who have been there. Basically I wanted to know how far the tourist hotels were from the pyramids and if it was easily accessible. Were there any restaurants or hotels that stand out? Is there dining variety? Are there any dangers that americans need to look out for? Are the egyptian people friendly in general if you look like an american?
