Default Where is the best place to vacation in the Caribbean/Bahamas/Mexico?

I am planning a trip in mid-February for my boyfriend and I. We are in our late 20's and are looking for somewhere that is relaxing and fun but not a party place. We want some nightlife but not where people are looking to just get drunk. Ideally I am looking for an all inclusive trip with beautiful beaches, a somewhat older crowd, and fun activities ie. snorkeling, parasailing that won't kill my budget, Thanks!!

We went to Puerto Rico over the summer and it was a lot of fun. There are some smaller islands off the main island that have great snorkeling.

Barbados, Cozumel, Dominican Republic all have very nice all-inclusive.

Hopefully you both are 21 or over, no minors allowed to travel without a legal adult companion. For an economic vacation, cruise lines are ideal for being all-inclusive. I personally like Carnival to Western Carribean 5 to 7 days. The 3 to 4 days to the Bahamas is very economical; use Royal Caribbean oit of Port Canaveral or NCL out of Miami. They all offer shore excursions for you to choose.

I highly recommend the Riu Palace in Playa Del Carmen Mexico.

The best vacation I have EVER had was at Club Med Columbus Isle. Beautiful place, wonderful food, excellent snorkeling and diving, lots of activities, older folks who party some, but most young married's so not any little kids running around. Quiet and relaxing! Here's the site:
