Default which caribbean island?

I have a free flight with Skyteam miles and I would like to visit a new caribbean island, i think i will travel in march... I already have been in Santo Domingo, Cuba, St Martin, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Island.. I'm looking most of all for beautiful beaches to swim and snorkel. I was thinking about the Dutch antilles (Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao) because they have good connections with Skyteam, or maybe Martinica, Antigua... not sure about the Bahamas in march, is the water too cold? ..I dont think Barbados has connections with Skyteam... anyone have suggestions?

St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands is beautiful and relatively quiet as compared to the Bahamas or San Juan. You can also take a day trip from there to St. John, which is smaller and even quieter.

Puerto Rico is nice but depends a lot on exactly where you stay.

The most important things to consider, though, are:

1) When the rainy season is in each place. The last thing you want is to have it rain the whole time you're there.

2) What kind of flights you can get. If possible, you'll want to take only direct flights so you can maximize your time on the beach.

Otherwise, almost all places in the Caribbean are beautiful and you will enjoy yourself no matter which island you choose. For more help figuring it out, check out this site on Caribbean travel:

The ABC islands are an excellent choice but also check out Providenciales,Turks and Caicos. The 3rd largest coral reef is located there and the snorkeling was awesome. Plenty of off shore snorkeling too.

The water color is beautiful. Clear, blue green awesome color. We were there in March and the weather was nice and warm.

Good Luck and enjoy)
