My husband and I are trying to decide on a trip for January to get away from our Wisconsin winter. We don't want to travel in the US or Canada. We considered the French Polynesia, but January is a bad time to go. We're going to the Galapagos next October and a cruise in April to the southern Caribbean.

Any ideas for a good January trip?

I know you are wanting to get away from the cold.... but my favorite place in the winter is Iceland!

You can get a place at one of the resorts next to the geothermal hot springs, get a massage, and enjoy the beauty of the Northern Lights.

Right now, the exchange rate is more favorable for the dollar than ever... I would seriously look into this.
