Hi, my best friend just got engaged and she is Jamaican, but her fiancé is American. Her wedding will be in Jamaica, so while for her it's not really a "destination wedding" (she's coming home), for her fiancé's family it is. Her fiancé is the only one in his family who has been to JA. Does anyone know of a hotel/restaurant in Negril or as far as Montego Bay where she can have BOTH the ceremony & the reception for 100 people for a maximum of $4,000? Sounds impossible, I know, but I had to try! She wants an evening wedding. Thanks for any suggestions! And no, she does NOT want to elope.

We just vacationed in Montego Bay at the Iberostar Rose Hall. It was REALLY nice, and big enough for that size of wedding. They did weddings on the beach and everything (there were 3 weddings the week we were there, but most of them were like 10 people destination weddings). It's an all-inclusive place, that offers wedding packages, but I don't know if $4000 for 100 people is really doable.
