Located on the Texas/Arkansas border, Texarkana is actually two cities with the same name - Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas. The name Texarkana actually derives from parts of the names TEXas, ARKansas, and LouisiANA.

The city play host to some interesting festivals such as the Twice As Bright Holiday Bright Festival, the Four States Fair,and the Quadrangle Festival.
